Sunset over Shepherds’ Field
Shepherds’ field and the Chapel at Shepherds’ field in the town of Beit Sahur, is today in an eastern suburb of Bethlehem. This is where the angel announced the birth of Christ to the shepherds. They left their flocks and went to search for the baby Jesus. The chapel is known for it’s excellent acoustics. Caves where shepherds “kept watch over their flock” are still numerous in this area.
